"Nature isn't classical, dammit, and if you want to make a simulation of nature, you'd better make it quantum mechanical, and by golly it's a wonderful problem"
The Cornell University Quantum Computing Association (Cornell QCA) is is an undergraduate student organization that focuses on quantum computing awareness, and we welcome students from all backgrounds and experience levels who are passionate. The club meets weekly to discuss recent quantum computing papers, and basic fundamentals of the field. Our goal is to foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where students can and connect with others with similar interests. Some of our activities include:
- Weekly discussions on cutting-edge quantum computing research papers to stay abreast of the latest developments.
- Beginner-friendly sessions to learn the basics of quantum mechanics and quantum computing algorithms.
- Opportunities for members to collaborate on quantum computing projects and research.
